Cathedrals

If I had to pick a favorite part of NYC, it would be all of the beautiful, old cathedrals we saw. They were gorgeous, both inside and out! The pictures don't do them justice...

I haven't posted lately because I have been out of town and very busy. I went to New York City for a week. I took about 1000 photos, so I'm still going through them. There are way too many to post on here, but I will post a few now. More will come later!

Flowers

Finally I can post these. This morning I decided to venture into RAW format pictures. So I switched the settings in my camera and went out to find something to take a couple pics of. The only problem was that when I got back home, I couldn't figure out how to get my program to open the files. After a day of trying to figure it out, I gave it one last shot and I finally got it to work.

Metcalf Bottoms

This morning after breakfast, my mother wanted to go walking at the picnic area. I went walking as well but not with her around the parking lot. I went into the woods to get some pictures. Here are a few.

I was extremely bored yesterday. It was suggested that I go into the park, so I went to Elkmont. Words of advice: When going to Elkmont, wear something other than flip-flops.

Sunset

Yesterday while I was driving home, the sky decided to be pink. Actually, opposite of the sun setting...the entire sky was pink, really pink. It was the strangest thing. I didn't get a picture of that though, because I don't think I could have captured it in its full glory.

God shines through!

Well there was some interesting and unexpected showers last night. Caught me off guard. But I managed to get these shots of the sky...just proves that God always shines through. You just have to look for Him!

Shoes!

My photozone challenge for this week is to photograph my favorite shoes. So this morning a went outside to try a few. I got a couple good ones, but I think I will try again maybe tomorrow. I'm not sure I love these.

Over the Mountain

These were taken earlier this week. I'm not really sure that the place really has a proper name...so I'm just gonna call it "Over the Mountain." These were some of my favorites from the day. It was beautiful.
